Café Assistant


Waveney Gymnastics Club are looking to expand after several years having the café space under the management of an outside catering firm the club are looking to take this side of the business back under its wing, having set a new company Waveney Gymnastics Enterprise Limited.  This is a new and exciting opportunity and we are looking for staff to fill this role to help progress and develop this venture further.

This role is for 9 hours per week on weekdays, the person who takes this role on will also be the person who is expected to cover sickness and holiday so could be called upon at short notice.  This role has the opportunity to be expanded and hours increased.

Administration Assistant

Location: Waveney Gymnastics Club, Lowestoft, Suffolk

Wage: £8.25 per hour

 Contract Type: Part Time 

Waveney Gymnastics Club are a community based gymnastics club, looking to produce grass roots to gold standard gymnastics.  In addition to coaching staff the club have a number of administrative staff as well due to the increase in participation we are requiring an additional administrator to help on weekends and for holiday and sickness cover.  

Role will include (but is not limited to) 

 -Updating and maintaining the files (computerised and paper records)

-Answering the telephone & dealing with all queries

-Receiving and handling payments, deposits etc both on front of house and via the telephone

-In-putting data into the database and various Microsoft Office documents

-Processing paperwork 

-Ensuring that the front desk space is kept clean and tidy and upholds current GDPR regulations.  


Experience

-Administration: 1 year (preferred)

-Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)


Education 

-A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
