Waveney Gymnastics Club has developed to become one of the leading sports clubs and facilities in the Area. Our purpose built facility is one of the best gymnastic centres in the country.  In the last five years hosting national junior and Senior training camps including teams from Canada, Australia, Great Britain leading up to London 2012.  We are a genuine community run club, which caters for all levels of gymnastic related activities from babies through to adults and top competitive athletes. Our aim is to provide an enjoyable and inclusive experience for everyone accessing our facility under the guidance and care of qualified coaches. 

We are looking to add a young enthusiastic coach to become a part of our performance coaching team. 


Head Of Women’s Artistic

Ideal Candidates should hold: 

-Minimum of British Gymnastics Level 2 plus all Level 3 technical modules in Women’s Artistic  

-First Aid qualification is preferable but not essential  

-A full driving is preferred, but ownership of a vehicle is not required

-British Gymnastics DBS is essential (Can Be Obtained)

-Successful candidates will show willing to work towards good planning, structural decision making and practical coaching within Women’s Artistic 

-Open to working in within an already established team

-Committed to continue personal development 

Duties Would Include:

-Coaching existing performance squads and developing a competitive structure to enhance the clubs progression and development

-Programme session and competition plans for relevant squads and sessions 

-Administration tasks including competition entries, and health and safety checks of the gym 

-Mentoring coaches within the club to enhance their knowledge 

Salary will be negotiable dependant on qualifications and experience. 

A relocation package is available for successful candidates.

The role will be over a 6 day week including evening and weekend work, so an open mind to working hours is essential and an expectation to attend county, regional and national competitions and squads.

Duties Would Include:

-Coaching and overseeing existing recreational classes.  

-Improving recreational class structure and development  

-Ensuring adequate staffing for recreational classes 

-Administration tasks of club events and health and safety checks of the gym 

-Mentoring coaches within the club to enhance their knowledge 

Salary will be negotiable dependant on qualifications and experience.
