Whilst watching from the viewing area, parents can sample some of the delights from Café Rendezvous as well as meeting other parents.

Similar to Gymnastics, the Trampoline Awards are issued every ‘Badge Week’ at the Club and individuals are assessed continuously, this ensures your child is progressing and most importantly enjoying every minute!

Special Needs – Gymnastics & Trampolining (5 Years – Adults)

Our work with a number of disability organisations continues to make our ‘Special Needs Programme’ very popular and highly successful.

The Club continues to develop our Team of ‘Special Needs Coaches’, as we regard this section of our Club as imperative as well as very rewarding. We receive a lot of positive feedback from parents, informing us of their child’s progress in the gym as well as the impact it has made in their personal and academic lives.

When enrolling on to our Special Needs Register, each individual is sent a ‘Care Plan’; this enables our coaches to be fully informed of all individual requirements.

Freestyle Gymnastics

Our Parkour classes have increased in popularity over the last year, following a successful Sportivate Course (funded through Sport England), which targeted male teenagers.

The sport has received a lot of publicity particularly through YouTube of people performing remarkable moves around obstacles at breathtaking speed. Developed in France, Parkour teaches participants to move through the environment by vaulting, rolling, running, climbing and jumping.

Waveney’s Parkour is regarded as a fast paced exciting sport, which is delivered in a safe environment.

Together with the advantages of growing physically stronger through exercise, improving co-ordination and socially interacting with other children, the experiences of the gymnastic work gives those attending a real ‘head start’ in the world of school.
